Any order and subsequent purchase of goods (as defined below) or services from Smoke Alarms Direct shall be governed by the following terms and conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions made with DA Suckling Ltd. trading as Smoke Alarms Direct. This includes orders placed online or by email, phone, fax, post or by any other means. Smoke Alarms Direct reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time.
You acknowledge and agree that all information supplied to us is true and accurate. Smoke Alarms Direct takes no responsibility for any consequences if false, misleading or incorrect information is supplied to us. All products are sold in good faith to the purchaser. By placing your order and using the products supplied, you agree that Smoke Alarms Direct, its owners or employees will not be held liable should any problems occur as a result of using these products.
90 Day, 100% Full Money Back Satisfaction Guarantee
You can return any product to us within 90 days from date of purchase if you are not 100% satisfied with the product for a prompt and courteous full refund of your entire purchase price. No reason will be required other than that you're not 100% satisfied with your purchase.
We want you to be able to order smoke alarms from us totally risk-free. If you’re not happy with your decision then neither are we. Just give us a call on 0800 600 789 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will immediately process you a refund.
Most prices are cheaper through our online store and we may charge more if orders are placed via other methods eg. phone, email etc. Payment must be made in full before goods are shipped. If paying by credit card, the transaction will occur at the time the order is placed irrespective of when the products ordered are shipped. Where product must be ordered from our suppliers, this will result in the payment being made a few days before the product is received. All prices quoted are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST).
We cannot guarantee that we will not make a mistake and misprice an item inadvertently. If this is the case, Smoke Alarms Direct will notify you of the error. You will then have the choice to either accept the correct price or to cancel your Order. Smoke Alarms Direct will appear on your cardholder statements for any transactions through this website.
Delivery of orders placed via the website to a New Zealand address is FREE! Delivery of orders to a New Zealand address placed by other methods eg phone, email will incur a $3.95 handling charge. Delivery to a rural or non-mainland New Zealand address incurs $15 surcharge unless items can be shipped to an alternative town address or mainland shipping point.
We respect your privacy. That's why we will not disclose, rent or sell your email address, or other contact information to any other company. We collect this information in order to be able to process your order and to make it easier for you when you re-order. All information about you will be maintained with strict confidence. Should you ever wish your details to be removed from our database, email your request to email@example.com. We will process your request immediately.
If you have been incorrectly supplied a product at the fault of Smoke Alarms Direct, we will re-send you your correct order and cover all costs related to returning the incorrect product back to us. If you have incorrectly ordered a particular model, firstly breathe a sigh of relief that you ordered them from Smoke Alarms Direct! Because of our 90 Day Satisfaction Guarantee, you can return them (or whatever’s left of the box) for either a full refund, or we can replace them with the correct model and it won’t cost you a cent!
If you have a faulty product, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or Freecall 0800 672-243. You can get either a replacement product sent, or we can issue you with a credit to be held against a future order to the value of the faulty product. You do not need to return the faulty product to us unless we specifically request it, and most importantly, you don't need to feel bad about contacting us! These things happen.
